Just a tattoo design that I thought up... there's actually a lot of symbolism in it:
The Chinese symbol is my actual last name. It (Kong) means big river, thus the water spiral.
The line spiral inside the water spiral is the golden spiral. As in from the golden section. I always loved the golden section, and you have no idea how cool I think it is that everything in nature abides by phi
Each side of the water spiral has 8 wave points. 8 = lucky number of the chinese
And the koi. Oh, the koi... I couldn't resist putting it in... especially since it represents courage and ambition... which is always cool XD It's little cuz the water's what's important.
My mom is massively against tattoos, but she liked this design.

Sorry I didn't comment right away T_T But I absolutely LOVE this design :3 It's very interesting that you incorperated so much symbolism into it, not only that but it looks great xD .....and if I wasn't scared of pain and my parents wouldn't murder me right on the spot I totally would get it!
